“This will be the last season of ‘The Tyra Show,’” Tyra told People.com. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years. My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.” In the future Tyra plans to focus fully on her film production company Bankable Studios. The final episode of the talk show will air in the spring of 2010.

Eva Longoria Parker is the newest star to lend her celebrity to a scent. Eva by Eva Longoria, the actress’ new fragrance will be in stores this spring. The scent is composed of citrus, jasmine, violet and freesia and features a bottle inspired by a woman’s feminine curves. “The scent of a woman is extremely sexy and this scent will prove that,” says Longoria Parker . Eva by Eva Longoria will be available at department stores nationwide in April 2010.
R.I.P. Britney Murphey (1977-2009)

Britney Murphy’s sudden death appears to be from natural causes, but police will continue to investigate. Although, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says “it appears to be natural,” a toxicology report will be required and an official cause of death could take weeks. An autopsy is planned for Monday or Tuesday.
Britney Murphy is the latest of a long list of celebrity deaths in 2009. May Britney rest in peace and our hearts go out to her family and friends.

Beyonce’s Parents Are Getting a Divorce

When evidence of a divorce was leaked on the blogs, the couple released this statement in regards to their impending divorce:
“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”
I’m sure the woman who is allegedly pregnant by Matthew Knowles has a lot to do with the decision to divorce. I, for one, am glad that some women are not continuing to stand by no good, cheating men in an effort to keep up the public front. I’m glad Tina Knowles has the courage to make a tough decision, despite of the speculation that will come from the public. I hope that Tina serves as a positive for other women who are not being appreciated by their high profile husbands.
