President and Mrs. Obama hosted the State Dinner in honor of Prime Minister of India and his wife.  It was “to celebrate the great and growing  partnership between the United States and India.”

So, by now, I’m sure everyone has seen this photo.  When I first saw it, I just knew it was taken out of context, but I still couldn’t help but laugh—and laugh hard.  Well, Good Morning America has released the video that clears up the misleading photo.

Sarah Palin held a press conference to say that she willl be stepping down as Governor of Alaska effecitive July 25, 2009.  Sean Pernell will be her successor.  Sarah has also announced that she will not seek re-election as Governor of Alaska.  Many have taken these statements as a foreshadowing that she will run for President of the United States in the 2012 election.

What is your opinion?  Should Sarah Palin throw her hat into the Presidential ring in 2012?  Speak on it?

I know Levi will catch a lot of flack about, what some might call whoring out his baby, but I actually love the photo shoot.  And need I remind people that the Palins were the ones who gave him a national forum, in the first place, by parading him around at the Republican Convention in their effort to prove to the right-wing that he and Bristol would ‘do the Christian thing’.  Levi seems like a decent teenager who loves his child (albeit fathered too soon).  If GQ paid him well and he needs money to support himself and his son, where is the harm in a few pictures?

Apparently, Sean Hannity was so offended by President Obama’s condiment choice for his hamburger, he had to do a segment about it on his show…let the hilarity ensue…..

Another example of Obama’s ‘elitism’, I assume.  Thoughts…………

President Obama was greeting with hugs and digital camera flashes when he visited US troops in Iraq yesterday.  I guess these troops agree with Obama’s stance on the Iraqi war.

The media is all abuzz over the Obamas visits to the Royals (you know Fox News is in full bashing mode).   Anyway, everyone is going crazy.  CNN is reporting how much the British adore Michelle Obama.

But, People Magazine got the inside scoop – what the Obamas gave as gifts. The president gave the Queen an iPod.  Which some thought was crass, but he also gave her “a rare 1951 printing of a 243-page Rodgers and Hart Songbook – signed by Richard Rodgers.”   In return the Queen gave the First Family a photograph of her with Prince Phillip.

Vice President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley my have gotten herself into an extremely serious and scandal-inducing situation involving drug use.  The 27-year-old social worker has a “friend” (with friends like those, who needs enemies) who’s shopping around a video of Ashley snorting cocaine at a party. The video appears to be legal as the friend claims Ashley knew she was being taped.

He contacted two lawyers who are helping him sell the footage – originally demanding a whopping $2 million from the New York Post, which refused.  He lowered the price to $400,000, but the Post still said no (no word on if that’s due to ethics or cost). They did, however, view the 90 seconds that appears to show Ashley snorting coke.

This all the Obama Administration needs!  Why don”t politicians’ children realize their actions will affect their family?  Like I said earlier, I pray that this is only a rumor and the video tape is a fake.  If this is true, then Democrats buckle yourself in securely because this will be a long and bumpy ride as the Republicans will have  a field day with this one……
